The new TRC-NW6 Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera is the ideal instrument for the growing market in Telemedicine and Diabetic Screening.The main optical system in the TRC-NW6 incorporates a dual magnification mechanism to allow for digital video capture of either 45° or 30° fields.To assist in capturing multiple images using today’s advanced video technology, the camera incorporates five flash levels to choose from. This gives the user greater flexibility for capturing all patient images with the most effective level of illumination for each image.Our ALL-NEW TRC-NW6 Retinal Camera is digital ready and will accept a Polaroid or our IMAGEnet™ Lite Telemedicine Imaging System.When connected to our IMAGEnet™ system, the images are immediately available for viewing or storage. Images may be transmitted by e-mail for various telemedicine applications or printed out on a variety of color printers. The digital upgrade provides a reduced flash intensity. This results in greater patient comfort, and less pupil size reduction after imaging. The minimum pupil requirement of 3.7 mm is well suited for most screening environments.
